Saturdays
It was a pleasure to work alongside Charli from Koha Apparel to create the brand identity for Saturdays. It was important to Charli to have a separation from the Koha branding and something that could stand alongside it and be impactful on its own. We started with a simplistic san serif font and added koru elements to it to bring through a bit of Kiwiana and create unique serif features. The blue was chosen as a vibrant striking base that sets off the simplicity of the black and white logo.
Saturday’s was created to offer a new unique opportunity to shop with Koha apparel. Koha Apparel has always operated with an important purpose, to provide clothing to those in Aotearoa that are most vulnerable in our community and to divert perfectly great clothes from landfill. Koha apparel knows that the most direct solution to tackling textile waste is accessibility to second-hand quality clothing, in a sustainable recycling solution.
'Saturday’s’ is open every Saturday from 10 am-2 pm, Unit 1, 955 New North Road, Mt Albert, Auckland, so you can go and shop, knowing 100% of profits raised will be fed back into Kohas’ mission and the work they do in our community.
